Seoul- December 16, 2019, Ambassador Abdul Hakim Atarud attended the opening ceremony of the "Forest Restoration to Enhance Ecosystem Services in Afghanistan" co-organized by UNEP-SNU as a collaborative Research Workshop at Seoul National Univesity.
During the meeting with Honorable Dean of College of Agriculture Science of the Seoul National Univesity Ambassador Atarud extended his appreciation for the assistance of the mentioned college on arranging such a workshop for the Afghan forest researchers.
During his congratulatory remarks, Ambassador Atarud advised the Afghanistan researchers to utilize maximum benefit out of this training program for mitigating the climate change in the country and restoration of the ecosystem.
The Republic of Korea over the past few years collaborating with Afghanistan entities to enhance the country's ecosystem.
