Sejong City- January 19, 2021, Ambassador Abdul Hakim Atarud paid a visit to KDI School Public Policy and Management department and met Honorable Mr. YOU, Jong-Il, Dean of Institute as well as Associate Dean of Academics Affairs.

During the meeting, Ambassador Atarud expressed and extended his gratitude for the continued supports of KDI School in providing scholarship programs for Afghan students in the past two decades, and asked to allocate more scholarships for civil servants and students. He also emphasized further enhanced relationships between KDI school and Afghanistan academic entities.

The KDI School was founded with authorization from the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development in 1997 and currently offering four different majors in Ph.D. and Masters programs. Since 2003 over forty-two Afghan students have completed their master's degree programs at this institute.
