Following the first meeting of Ambassador Atarud with Honorable Mr. Sungdon Hwang, Ph.D. Secretary-General, Silk-road Universities Network yearly this year and facilitating the membership of Kabul and Hirat Universities to the SUN. Today the Afghan Ambassador to the Republic of Korea was invited as a guest of honor and chief speaker to the first round Union of Students of Silkroad Universities Network USSUN-HUFS seminar and delivered a presentation about the Silkroad and Connectivity.
In his presentation, Ambassador Atarud highlighted the importance of Silkroad and Connectivity, Peace, Education, emerging Asia, and Afghanistan as a hub of transformation and trade.
He also emphasized on the importance of geo-economics and collaboration for co-existence among the old Silkroad nations and contemporary and globalized world.
